The better the bid, the easier the install. A sales rep can solve alot of issues while doing the initial bid.
Where will the control box be located?
Is there attic access?
Is there a power outlet for the control box?
How will you get to different sections of the roof? Dormers? Detatched Garage? 2nd floor?
Know the methods of getting from point A to point B so you can explain it to the custome during the bid
Is the tracks standard, canted, other?
Will you need blank track?
Will you need tall ladders?
What is the roof material and slope?
Can you walk on the roof?
What is the soffit material? (Aluminum, Hardy, Steel, Copper)

Review the installation packet
Determine the areas where lighting is going to be installed
Determine the type of istall (soffit, facial, specialty)
Make sure you have the necessary supplies:
– Metal Track
– Controllers and power supplies
– Tools, screws, ladders, touch up paint, etc.
I can be very costly to need to return to the shop. Double check to make sure you have everything.
